IELTS General Training test
IELTS General Training test is taken by those who wish to move to Canada for work. It is accepted by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) numerous immigration programs, such as Express Entry.
IELTS on computer is the same test as IELTS on paper, the only difference being that you type your answers on computer in a lab at the IELTS testing point. Registrants who complete the computer-based exam can expect to receive their results sooner (two to five business days).
You still need to attend the British Council IELTS Testing Point at TSOM to take IELTS on computer.
IELTS on computer is accepted for Canadian immigration and by over 750 organizations across the country.

On the day of your test, you must bring the exact same valid identification (ID) you used to apply for the test (IELTS only accepts a valid passport or valid Canadian permanent residence card), as well as your confirmation email. For more test day information, visit https://www.ielts.ca/
