Toronto School of Management (TSOM) and Trebas Institute Ontario alumni gathered on March 19 for the highly anticipated Alumni Connect event, an evening dedicated to professional networking, knowledge-sharing, and career advancement.
The event started with a welcome address from Nisha Naug, Associate Dean, setting the stage for an engaging and insightful evening. Four accomplished alumni from TSOM and Trebas shared their career experiences, providing valuable insights and guidance for attendees looking to navigate their professional journeys.
Adding to the evening’s enriching discussions, Monica Rodriguez, Career Development and Co-op Coordinator, delivered an informative session on digital presence and personal branding, offering practical strategies for building a strong professional identity in today’s competitive job market.
A highlight of the event was the speed networking session, where alumni had the chance to connect with industry professionals, exchange career success stories, and expand their networks. Additionally, information stations were set up for attendees to learn more about programs and admissions at Ontario Institute of Health and Innovation (OIHI), The Language Gallery (TLG) Canada, and TSOM.
The event concluded with an essential Ministry of Colleges and Universities (MCU) survey discussion led by the Registrar’s Office, emphasizing the significance of alumni feedback in shaping future educational experiences. To wrap up the night on an exciting note, attendees participated in a raffle, where lucky winners took home fantastic prizes, including a Kindle and gift cards.
