TSOM announces in-campus delivery for September intake programs

It’s been a year since the World Health Organization declared COVID-19 as a global pandemic, sending us all into an unprecedented time that continues to affect people around the world.

As the weather warms up and the sun graces us with some much-needed vitamin D, it’s important to remember that we’re all in this together, and so long as we continue to follow public health protocols, we can look forward to a time when we see each other on campus again – and soon.

We are pleased to inform you that September 2021-22 intakes are slated to have in-person delivery for all our programs.

We envision a fuller campus in September with extensive planning and safety protocols for all that enter and use the TSOM campus. This not only includes students, but faculty and staff members, and visitors. Modification to spaces, stringent use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and mixed-format delivery are all being considered.

As we continue to monitor the situation, we remain hopeful and have much to look forward to: Vaccine rollouts are now taking place all over the country, with over a million Ontarians vaccinated already.

Even with this progress it’s important for us to remember to stay safe. We urge you to continue to wear a mask, social distance, and follow public safety protocols as they occur. We care about you, your health, and your wellness. With the arrival of warm weather, I encourage you to stay healthy and go outside to enjoy the spring air – safely, following public health guidelines.

We look forward to a fresh start in the fall!
