The Toronto School of Management (TSOM) will be embedding Trailhead modules into their Diploma in Business Administration and Diploma in Business Management Co-op programmes.
Trailhead is an online platform provided by Salesforce where students can learn at their own pace through guided learning paths, collecting badges and scoring points.
TSOM will be incorporating modules under ‘Manage the Salesforce Way’ across different courses. Embedding these modules adds value to their programmes and gives students additional, supplementary or even compulsory skills to succeed in their future careers, especially as many organisations across the world make use of Salesforce.
Students can use this as an independent learning tool to discover strategies for becoming a great manager. In addition to this, the challenges on the platform allow students to solve real-world business issues with ‘Trailhead Playground’. Through this, students can earn valuable badges and a certification, which will count towards their participation grades.
Eugene Demchuk, Associate Director of Academics and Student Services at TSOM, said: “The Academic team is excited to be able to give our students this additional learning resource. We believe that the tools provided by Trailhead will help them develop new skills and knowledge, shaping their future roles as successful leaders and manages.”
Trailhead modules will feature in the Fundamentals of Business Communications, Business Environment, Organisational Behaviour and the Research Project.
